THE FRAGRANCE OF THE SWEET WINTERY COLD!

Hello Wintry World…
I hope you are relishing the imminent winter season as I am truly savoring it. Somehow and somewhere the holiday spirit snatched me up earlier than normal. It could be the holiday music that blares in my car everyday…hehe. I am trying to work on my Christmas cards, holiday backing, and finish up my finals for school. Let me tell you what, there really needs to be more time in the day…somebody needs to send a memo to “father time” about that!
I have decided to NOT film the making of my cards but I will post pictures of how you can do 4-5 designs with one stamp and the same paper. Sometimes that assembly line of making cards just kills me. Until I start my holiday cards here are a couple that I have accomplished in the meantime. I hope you have a great day world. Stay warm with coco kisses and cookie hugs….Love ME

Gobble, Gobble Sweet World!!

Hello, Hello, Hello Sweet World!
Only a few more days till Turkey day! I hope everyone has a great holiday. My plans are to drive to Vegas and spend time with my brother-in-law and his family. I adore my niece and nephew!! Here is a project that I have completed over the weekend. I love when X-box comes out with a new game. When my sweet hubby gets a new game to equals crafty time for me....muahhhaha! This is a layout using the page maps sketch. I made all the elements on the page (there's nothing like homemade) to give it some texture and balance. I love the colors black and cream together.

Oh My Sweet World....

What an evening to be had by all!! I had the pleasure of taking my two girls to the Twilight Saga Marathon. We were seated by 3:30p.m. and did not leave our seats until 2:02a.m. Of course we left our seats to attend to the restroom and refill our sodas. The Twilight movies were fun to watch all over again. The premier of Breaking Dawn was phenomenal. They did an outstanding job on the movie. Yet again it left you craving more;) Clever movie people!! If you haven't seen it....RUN it's a worthy movie!!! That's all I have today I did finish a layout that took me out of my box a little. I will post that later. I'm "thinking" about doing a holiday card series on YouTube....but then again maybe NOT....I will have to see how finals go for me. Until next "time warp" sweet world...

Hello world!!
It’s November!!! I have a busy month ahead of me. Thanksgiving is around the corner….yummy!! I have less than 5 weeks left of this semester and this month is crazy with birthdays…including mine! Today, I am posting my daughter’s birthday card. My sweet baby turned 11! She is turning into quite the little lady. WOW with this crazy month that is ahead of me I am eager to get a few layouts and a mini done sometime this month…so stay tuned for that.

Halloween Card #6

Happy Halloween Sweet Wicked World,
Do you smell the excitement that’s in the air? I love Halloween/Samhain!! The enjoyment of the carving of the pumpkins and the way they smell. I love apple cider and the sweet refreshing smell of cinnamon. Oh how I adore this time of year!! Ok, enough of my digressing….
Today is my final Halloween card… This Bugaboo digi stamp is absolutely adorable!! I had used him in another card BUT he is presented in a different way that makes the card FUN! The paper is the DCWV Fall/Halloween paper collection. I colored his face with copics but I used my two-way glue to add the sparkle to his outfit. I embellished with some string and a button! Easy, Pleasey and Fun!

Hello Wicked World!!
It's Friday… HURRAY!! Today, I bring card #5 to share with you. Again….a Bugaboo digi stamp….and again the same paper collection from DCWV…..lol This sweet little devil is just too cute to pass up for that little guy in your life. I colored him with my prisma coloring pencils and added glitter to his staff. You always need a little sparkle somewhere…RIGHT?!?! Any who, I punched the spider web from the Martha Stewart deep edge punch. I used UTEE to give it some shine. Doesn’t he look adorable sitting on the web? Thanks for stopping in world….till day 6 comes TA-TA for now…….Love ME!

I am back with another card for my Halloween card extravaganza!! This is card #4 and is another Bugaboo digi stamp. Ok, Ok, I know… I’m obsessed with her digi’s…. they are so darn cute and so darn addicting. This digi is from the Halloween Skelekinz collection. The headless Skelekinz is so super adorable! I used the same paper collection from DCWV. I used the Martha Stewart deep edge punch “spider web” to make a border. The spider web stamp is also from a Martha Stewart Halloween stamp collection. I made a tiny rosette with a stamped image of “Boo”. I cut the shape around the image with my nestabilities die. I had so much fun making this card! Thanks for stopping by….LOVE ME!!
