Project Life Process of Week 22

Well, I finally did the unimaginable...I made a process video. I used journaling cards, tags, and word strips from Creative Bubble's store, which I believe she took down most of her products. ;( I hope you are inspired to create and have a great weekend! Thank you for stopping by to watch.

If your out there...

Hello, Hello, Hello....It's been forever since I last posted. The husband left for his deployment and the homework has been piling up and somehow during this time I lost my creative mojo. I have a layout that is waiting for embellishments but it's just collecting dust for now. I did manage to pull off another layout for a weekly challenge over at the Creating the Craft Life. I entered too late (had the flu) but I enjoyed making it. I'm slowly getting back into my grove again. Any who, here's the layout. Hope you all have a insane day!!

Hello Wicked World!

Today I bring a weekly sketch challenge over at Creating the Crafty Life. This layout is a group picture of my loved ones on Halloween in 2005. Um- yea, a little behind on my scrapbooks but the Silhouette Cameo is resolving that issue! I have completed 7 layouts in less than 12 days. That is a huge accomplishment for me…lol!
Tuesday is the first day of school and the last first day for me. I am finishing up my semester in my studies. I have signed up for 18 credits, my husband is deploying, and I have three kids. Not once have I ever said I was sane…LOL Welcome to the beginning of my insanity!!!
OK…enough muttering. The paper I used for the layout is from the seasonal paper pad by Cloud 9. All the die cuts and punches are from the Silhouette Cameo. I hope you enjoy and I’ll bring another layout soon!! Till then stay wicked….love, ME

Hey Sweet Wicked World!

“We were here soaking up the sun”
How is everybody handling the New Year so far? I have been a very busy girl. This week is proving to be a demanding week for me also. It’s that time of year again for my DH to deploy overseas. We have been entertaining the whole “get ready” process…lol. The next few weeks will be stressful…I am so looking forward to that....lol…did you hear the heavy sarcasm in that!! Anyways, enough of that insanity…. for the past week I have been working on layouts. I have to say that I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE my new Silhouette Cameo!! I had such a blast creating these layouts with that machine. The layout I would like to share today is a sketch from Page Maps. It’s a 6-photo layout. The paper is from an open stock of Recollections and Basic Grey. I used a neutral background to keep it simple. I used the Silhouette for the tickets and the title. I do not show the journaling on this layout but it goes on the right of the photos. So, thank you for stopping by…please leave a comment because comments make everybody’s day wonderful!! Till next time…stay wicked…love, ME

Happy New Year Wicked World!

I hope everyone had a grand weekend. I celebrated with a few friends and a small bon fire. I spent time with the ones I truly care about. I’m still not sure I’m looking forward to this year. DH is deploying sometime this month…EWWWW. It’s not his first nor will it be his last. His deployments are what got me into scrapbooking in the first place. In 2000, he was deployed to Turkey. I had a 5 year old and a 6 month old baby at the time. I worked part time and I was searching for a hobby that would take my mind off lonesomeness and I have been scrapbooking ever since!
Ok, enough rambling….
Today, I am bringing a few cards that was completed over the past year. All three cards feature a digi stamp from bugaboostamps.com. The first card is a “thank you card.” The paper (K and Co) is from my scrap bin. I try to use all my scraps on cards when possible. I used versa mark as the background. I finished the card with yarn and stitched lines.
This next card is using “Marge”. I crocheted the flower (lol…I’m getting better) and completed it with a button.
The last card is “Dottie.” I used paper from The Far East paper pad from DCWV. The embellishments consist of punched flowers with brad centers and a scalloped punched strip.
I’m heavily into the stitching on the cards. I believe it gives it a little something extra in the end! Well, I hope you enjoyed and see you next week with a few layouts I have completed…..stay warm!
P.S.
This is what my desk looks like after holiday cards...lol...ENJOY!!

Hey Sweet Wicked World!!

Has anyone seen the month of December?
December has come and basically passed me in a blink of an eye. I finished the semester but I believe my sanity (whatever was left) has been forever lost…LOL. The next semester is my final one. I enrolled in 6 classes to complete the credits for my graduation in May. Anyhow, I wanted to drop in and wish everybody a late and wonderful Christmas/Winter Solstice! Santa loved me this year with a big and unexpected surprise. I got a Silhouette Cameo!! I have to tell you this machine kicks butt!! If you’re trying to figure out what electric cutting machine you would like to purchase….go with the Cameo! I no longer need to worry about purchasing cartridges and extra glue. My headache I would constantly get with my Slice machine has disappeared. I’m telling you can’t go wrong!! Ok, OK….enough of the advertising for the Cameo…LOL
I wanted to share the Christmas cards I made. I don’t have detailed supply list but the stamps are from either Inkadinkado or Bug a Boo digi stamps. The paper I used was from the paper pack by Cloud 9 Designs Seasonal. I have to tell you, I just fell in love with this paper!
That’s it for this year. It has been a really difficult year for my family and I with the loss of my only brother. I’m hopeful 2012 will bring peace of mind and heal my broken heart. Happy New Year everybody!!
